"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way."

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I made this dip for our church's Superbowl Party last night and it was a HUGE hit! It's incredibly easy and delicious. You just can't go wrong with that!

I found it on Southern Plate. I doubled the recipe.

1 block of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup hot sauce
1 large can of chicken

Soften your cream cheese by microwaving it for about 30 seconds. Then mix all ingredients until well blended. Pour into an 8x8 pan, and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.

Enjoy!
